So we disagree, thats cool. I obviously have big problems with it. Not only is it ugly they left the hyphen out of "Show-Me", and they refuse to fix it. But even if you do like it, don't you think you can design a nicer one? Just for fun?

Oh yeah, the lack of a hyphen sucks alright. Maybe we can expect a visit from these guys: http://www.chicagotribune.com/features/chi-typo-guys-0521may21,0,82...

It looks like it was "designed" in Microsnot Word! Ugliest license plate ever!!

By the way, there are lots of specialty plates you can get for a $25 donation/membership to whatever organization it is that is sponsoring them. I'm thinking seriously of getting the Missouri Tourism one which has the Arch and some other cool state iconography on it... or this one that's just cool as hell:

nope. i actually miss the "ugly" red and white ones. i think these gradients and photos that are being printed on license plates now (not just in MO) are turrible. BUT, people like 'em.

I also like the old red ones. I prefer my license plate to look like a metal plate declaring the legal registration of my vehicle in a clean and unobtrusive manner; I prefer my tourist-aimed bumper stickers to be on other people's cars.

I think this would be a lovely plate Bill.

fabulous Aunia. subtle, not too ostentatious, with just a hint of morbid humour.
