The widget appears to be working correctly in my Wordpress blog now, although it didn't seem to be last week, which seems illogical but...
However, I'm just using it on a "page", not in my sidebar. I simply pasted the code into the page, and haven't done anything since. It's here: http://www.amyvandonsel.com/contact
I've had some issues before inserting non-Wordpress flash widgets into a widgetized sidebar, depending on my template.
good idea amy, but i'm using wordpress.com instead of wordpress self-hosted like you are. wordpres.com restricts a bunch of codes, both in the sidebar and on thier main pages. for instance, i have a special code i have to enter that they've developed for youtube since wordpress.com's platform is to develop for each app. of course this isn't true for html code, but scripts and style tags get thrown right out with flash. of course this is because wordpress doesn't expect us free hosted blogs to run something nearly as well designed as your blog (which is pretty)
