Stolen band gear- please read if your a gear head
A bunch of The Helium Tapes gear was stolen out of my basement last night. It includes a Green Fernandes Strat with "suncaster" written on the headstock and a bunch of scratched off paint where the back rubs my belt buckle. Also missing (and probably more importantly) are Brandon's Little Phatty Moog, and his CME uf5 MIDI controller, Tim's Laney VC30 all-tube guitar amp, and our never-even-got-to-use-it PA head... a GIGRAC 600.

anyhoo, how've you been?
Our little girl wanted to call her little sister Sunny Cat, and I suggested Sunyatta as a halfway house... but we went with Lila :)
Hope the release show was great. Have listened to the album a lot already. Playing it and dancing now while I cook for my girls.

You can hear a couple of songs on myspace. The gods are trying to stop The Helium Tapes from releasing their album. In the end, The Helium Tapes will prevail.
We may even live in the same hood...
Get this: I teach college English, and I make my students watch Blade Runner.
