Time is skittering by till the PLAY:stl festival. We are giddy at the thought of 90 great bands crowding in to the Loop for three splendid days in September. To answer your question, I was born in Cortland, which is about 20 minutes from Ithaca, best known for Cornell University. I lived in other small town in fingerlakes area, and also further north for a while.
