GONN was real GONE, daddy-oh!

GREAT SHOW last Saturday night! Nice turnout, too (109 paid!). Everyone seemed to really enjoy the bands, which was great to see also. I thought Gonn sounded really good and put on a fantastic show for almost two solid hours. It's hard to believe those guys haven't played (or even practiced) together in over two years, yet sounded that tight. It was also really cool to hang out with Amy Gore and Freddy Fortune who came all the way from Detroit to see the show (despite Freddy being really hungover from a big 40th birthday party they had at their house the night before).

That finale was pretty fuckin' cool, too. All things considered this was a great night of rock'n'roll, and I know the year is still young, but I'm sure it'll rank right up there with the shows of the year. If you missed it, you might get another chance to catch Gonn again this year, though, as I've heard rumors of them returning sometime over the summer. Cool!
