Soulard ART Market hosts The Sketchbook Project
The Sketchbook Project is coming to Soulard Art Market
The folks at Art-House Co-op agreed to exhibit the Sketchbook Project at Soulard ART Market on March 11, 2008 from 6 to 10pm. The Sketchbook Project is like a concert tour, but with sketchbooks. Art-House sends you a sketchbook, you make the art. Then Art House is taking all the sketchbooks on a 6 city tour to galleries and museums across the U.S. The goal of the exhibition is to encourage anyone to create artwork and build a collective of sketchbooks made by artists from all over the world. The sketchbooks will be plastered across our wall and on tables , free for people to flip through. Art House in Atlanta Georgia is bringing artists together and giving everyone a chance to show in museums and galleries around the country. It's all about community.
You can participate by requesting a sketchbook from Art House Co Op. The deadline is February 22, 2009 for submission. Visit Art House website at www.arthousecoop.com/sketchbookproject
