"This was an actual traffic cop in St. Louis. My dad shot this and put it to music because he thought the guy was interesting as a traffic cop. My dad sold it to Hanna-Barbera which used it on Banana Splits. He felt he would not get credit on tv, so he was sure to insert the street sign that says POP COP and Pietromonaco." -Doug Pietromonaco
