I suppose this makes sense for Missouri. Budweiser has a long history with MO and has actually contributed a lot to the state. This might help bring in a little more tourist dollars, which I'm all for. In the long run, I don't think this would make that big of a difference in our lives. How often has the official state grass (big bluestem) made a difference in my life?

Yeah I have to agree with this. I used to be a much bigger Bud hater than I am now. I still can't drink regular Bud, but they have some decent products and if you live in St. Louis you can't hate them too much--they do contribute a lot to the city and they could have moved a long time ago. The brewery tour is something to behold, and some of their lesser known products are quite good. From what I hear, August IV is steering the company in the right direction--offering support for smaller micro brewers rather than buying them up.

Actually, anymore I'll drink Bud before I'll drink PBR or Stag. Especially if I'm at a bar like 2 Cents Plain where they don't have a fucking tap (what's up with that?).
