Where I live now:: St. Louis, Misery

About Me:: I'm a proud native of Detroit, Michigan. I spent a great deal of time screwing off in the SF Bay Area, and wound up graduating from high school and college there. I was once a beat reporter and radio producer for the Oakland A's and San Jose Sharks. My nickname, Doc, is short for "Doctor Detroit"; it was given to me by legendary Bay Area sports broadcaster Gary Radnich, who I interned for at KRON-TV in the early 90s. I paid my way through my last year of college as a jazz buyer for Tower Records. I have an unhealthy obsession with the University of Michigan and the City of Detroit.

I currently live in St. Louis, Missouri, where I play drums for The 75s. I used to play in Long John Thomas and the Duffs, The Downcasts, and The Incisions, plus a couple of short-lived trash bands in San Francisco.

Oh yeah... I'm also a BIG fan of Ludwig Drums.

Relationship Status:: In a Relationship

TV shows I watch:: I'm a news junkie (CNN, MSNBC, Meet The Press, This Week, Hardball, Countdown, Frontline, and Now). As for network TV... it blows. Hard. I only care about TV when the Red Wings, Lions, Tigers, or Pistons are on. Every Saturday in the fall, you can bet I'm glued to a Michigan football game on ESPNplus. Go Blue.

The 75s' debut CD out in January!

'Extra Fancy", the debut CD by The 75s, will be self-released in January. It features 10 original songs, and was expertly recorded at the fine studios of Firebrand Recording earlier this month. The disc will be available at 75s shows, and via paypal (more details on that to follow). Two songs from the CD, "Finders Keepers" and "Chemistry" are available for podcast use through the Podsafe Music Network.
